Process Engineering (Basic) is the First Stage in various fields of engineering. A process engineer plays an important role form “concept to Commissioning” in all sectors of process and related industries. With increasing emphasis on research and development new technology, new product and global competition, the requirements of skilled process engineers is increasing day by day.
A process Engineer has to be conversant with subject such as Fluid Handling, Unit Operation and reaction kinetics Nuclear and Thermal power stations Material of Construction, Field Instrumentation, Statutory and Safety aspects.
Scope for Process
Research organizations Process Licensors
Food and Beverage companies Refinery
Chemical Process industries Project & Construction Companies
Interaction with Industry
The course content and study material is framed and modeled by eminent experts from the different engineering streams. The faculties, which has vast industrial experience in well-known organization and specialized in particular subjects, conducts lectures and practical. Eminent working professionals revive the performance of the participant.
In order to formulate structure, syllabus and to seek an expert Advice, Steering Committee was constituted which included:
- Mr. S.P.Singh (Manager - Process Engg., Praj Industries, Pune.)
- Mr. Yogesh Mhaske (Senior Manager - Design, Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd., Pune.)
- Mr. S.N.Banka (Director, Abhinav Industries, Pune.)
- Mr. Vipin Deshpande (Head of Process Discipline, Canadaoil Engg. India. Ltd. Mumbai.)
- Mr. P.K.Khandelwal, (Freelancer)
